How quickly will we see initial key performance indicators?

The first assets are recorded in the system in under 14 days. A complete, meaningful database for audits or annual financial statements will take longer, depending on the scope.

Does seventhings replace our ERP system?

No. seventhings acts as middleware between Excel and SAP/DATEV for the movable assets that currently aren't properly tracked in any system. Your ERP remains the system of record for asset accounting and depreciation.

How is data transferred to SAP or DATEV?

Via existing interfaces — you can find more details on our integrations page.

What happens to our existing legacy Excel data?

Existing lists can be imported and cleaned up during the initial entry process, rather than being transferred 1:1.

Which asset classes is seventhings suitable for?

For movable, mobile assets such as DGUV V3 equipment, testing devices, PPE, tools, conference technology, furniture, or company mobile phones without MDM. Not for stationary production facilities or building services—CAFM or ERP systems are the right choice for those.
