Our feature roadmap provides an insight into the features planned for the coming months. It serves to clearly communicate our medium-term development direction and to actively involve our customers in the development process.

Rental management - Q3/25

Rent out inventories to employees for a specified period of time, manage reservations and remind the borrower to return them.

Advanced scanning mode - Q3/25

Scan objects without QR codes or barcodes to make initial data input even faster.

Object information per user group - Q4/25

Seventhings displays inventory fields depending on the user's role. For example, the accountant sees acquisition values and activation data, while the IT administrator sees serial numbers and IP addresses instead.

Object KPIs - Q4/25

Evaluations of objects usage and value provide insights into inventory levels. The KPIs help to immediately determine values per cost center or to find the most frequently used objects.

Employee Management - Q1/26

Objects can be assigned to each employee, core data such as name, position, and department can be maintained, and handover protocols can be added. It allows the management of all employees, not just users of seventhings.
